JET began as a small dealer of manual chain hoists and trolleys; sold from a single hardware store in Tacoma, Washington. Over the years, JET has carried everything from electric chain hoists to air hoists. Beginning in the 70's JET introduced a full line of industrial air tools and material handling products which included paving breakers, backfill tampers and forklifts.
By the early '80s, as JET continued to grow, metalworking products became their core business line. 5 years later, JET launched its woodworking product category rounding out their product categories.
In the '90s, JET grew from being just an importer of high-quality machines and tools from the Far East to designing and manufacturing its own products in the Far East to its own specifications.
The Cyclone Dust Collector Collection from JET delivers the efficiency you’ve been waiting for. With a direct mount filter, and a large collection bin these dust collectors take your shop’s capabilities to a new level. Upgrade to a JET Cyclone Dust Collector and experience The Power of Efficiency. The cyclone's two stage separation provides more working CFM than comparable horsepower single-stage units. Heavy debris is pulled down to the collection drum before debris stream reaches the filter, providing constant suction. The direct mounted filter eliminates inefficiencies from ridged flex hosing and bends. Fine dust particles are filtered through pleated material that captures even the smallest particles down to 1 micron and below. Heavy debris is captured in 20-gallon drum with quick-release levers and independent casters for quick emptying. A double paddle manual cleaning system quickly cleans the pleated filter. Swivel casters make it easy to move the unit around the shop.
