This tool comes fitted with a ⅜" teardrop shear scraper (RS222). Ideal for creating a smooth finish that requires little if any sanding. Like its larger equivalent (RS200C) use the curved edge for internal work like refining the surface of a small bowl, whilst the straight edge is ideal for external shear scraping.
A miniature version of its versatile big brother – the micro Spindlemaster is the perfect tool to create smooth finish on pens to reduce the amount of sanding required.
It can also be used to plane, bead, cove and trim end grain on any spindle work. It’s easy to use and easy to sharpen, and like the larger version, the polished back bevel helps to produce a high quality finish. Delivers exceptional results on all timbers.
This parting tool has a flute running along the bottom edge, creating two sharp spurs at the cutting face. These sever the fibres to produce a burnished finish. The tapered profile also reduces the risk of binding in the cut.
