    Contractor jig with interchangeable templates for use with a plunge router to cut the mortise & face-plate recess for popular door locks. For most common sash mortises & deadlocks, with up to 3 inch deep mortises & a 7/8 inch or 1-inch face-plate. Deeper mortises can be achieved with a suitable size of auger bit. Fast, clean & accurate results on doors 34 mm to 58 mm thick, even in hardwood. Steel plates & body. An auger bit and drill are required to complete deep mortises. The jig requires a 1/2- inch plunge router with an 80 mm plunge, fitted with a 30 mm guide bush with 6 mm spigot & 12 mm diameter long reach cutter. A 1/4-inch plunge router can be used for the faceplate but will not achieve full depth of mortise. 1 x Guide Bush Collar 12 x Face Plate Templates 4 x Mortise Templates 6 x Spacer Fingers
