A heavy duty drill suitable for drilling wood and metal.The chuck will hold straight shank drill bits from 3-16 mm .The chuck can also be removed from the quill and drills with a no 2 or 3 Morse taper can be fitted directly in the quill. Table is easy to raise by means of a handle engaging with the rack and pinion mechanism on the column.Table tilts left and right to 45⁰. There are slots in the table to allow fastening of a vice to clamp articles that needs to be held firmly. There are also grooves around the edge to allow the use of a coolant. Flip up safety cover over chuck.If heavy components are being drilled, it will be safer if the machine is bolted down on the floor. However, for light duty work, machine can be used unbolted.
