JET JJ-6L-M JOINTER

JJ-6L-M - planer with long cast iron tables, designed for amateur use. Due to the fact that it is executed on the same layout scheme as the professional Jet models, it is precise and convenient in operation. Structurally, it consists of two parts. In the bottom, playing the role of the pedestal-stand, is a single-phase asynchronous ("induction") motor with a power of a little more than a kilowatt and a shroud collecting hood with a 100-mm nozzle for connection to the exhaust system. The upper part consists of a cast-iron base where the planing shaft is located, and cast-iron work tables with the corresponding equipment consisting of a protective casing and the workpiece rest. Both tables are regulated in height by screw mechanisms, driven by handwheels. By moving the feeding (front) table, adjust the depth of planing, for which there is a corresponding marking; The receiver (rear) is moved only during the adjustment operations while the machine is serviced. The casting stop is cast-iron, with a mechanism for adjusting the tilt (it is possible in both directions). The selected position is locked by a threaded clip. The knife shaft is equipped with three knives, which allow re-sharpening. Their size is the same as that of the professional jet fuels with a similar planing width.
