JET 1443 WOODWORKING LATHE

The JWL-1443 wood lathe features simple and convenient controls with a mechanical variable control. This makes it ideal as a serious hobbyist lathe. The bed is made from cast iron and machined to a perfectly flat surface. The stand is pressed steel and has a built in tool tray. The lathe is able to handle both large and small pieces with ease. The powerful 750 watt motor is enough to handle the most demanding of jobs. The machine has variable sized pulleys with 10 stops to be able to handle most work, the speed is adjustable without the need to turn the machine off. The head stock can swivel to enable the turning of larger pieces. The lathe comes with a face plate, drive and live center.
